Car meets & drives
DriveLink is a free iPhone app made for car meets and group drives. You see car meets, tuner and classic car meets, drives and track days on a map, can sort by date or distance, RSVP and start navigation to the meeting point. Organisers add their meets themselves, including recurring ones with a site map.
Open the Events tab in DriveLink and sort by distance or switch to the map view. You can filter by type (Car Meet, Track Day, Drive, Spontaneous) and search by place or organiser. Short-notice meets show up under "Happening now near you".
DriveLink lets you plan group drives in a group: plan or share a route, vote between several routes and start the winning route straight away as a convoy. On the road, all drivers see each other live on one map, and the app shows when someone falls behind.
A convoy is a drive with several cars together. All drivers appear live on the map, one person leads as navigator, there is a convoy chat and a shared destination. A convoy ends automatically after 12 hours at the latest.
Get the app, create a free account and add a new event under Events with title, date, meeting point and type. Optionally add a cover image, photos and a site map, and set the meet to repeat weekly or monthly.
DriveLink works anywhere and is available in English and German. It started in Germany, so that is where most meets are listed so far. Elsewhere the map fills up as drivers and organisers add their meets.

Yes, DriveLink is free to download and use. Finding meets, creating events, groups and convoys cost nothing.
No, DriveLink is currently available for iPhone only.
DriveLink is free on the App Store for iPhone. Download the app, open it and sign up for free with your email address.
No. You decide who sees you on the map: everyone, friends only or nobody. Until you choose, you are invisible. With a Ghost Zone around your home you are invisible there to everyone, including friends and your convoy.
