Plan group drives and drive as a convoy

With DriveLink you plan drives with your crew from idea to road: plan the route, vote as a group, roll out together. On the road, everyone in the convoy sees everyone else live on the map. Free for iPhone.

Plan the route, stop by stop

In the route planner you set the start, stops and destination on the map, as a one-way route or a loop. DriveLink works out distance and drive time for every leg. Scroll through a real tour from the app:

Step by step

  1. Create a group. Say, "Sunday Run". You invite friends, then every member can add more friends. The group has its own chat.
  2. Plan or share a route. Plan a tour with stops or as a loop, or use a road you've already driven and recorded. It shows up in the chat as a map everyone can open.
  3. Vote. Put two or more routes up for a vote. The group votes, and the route with the most votes gets marked.
  4. Start the convoy. Start a convoy straight from the winning route. The group gets notified and can join with one tap.
  5. Drive together. Everyone is live on the map. The destination can be a route, an event or any point on the map.

What the convoy does on the road

Everyone on one map

See where each driver is and how far away. Tap "Follow" to keep one person in view.

Nobody gets lost

If someone falls behind, DriveLink shows it, so the front knows when to wait.

Navigator & chat

One person leads as navigator, and the role can be handed over. Use the convoy chat to sort out breaks and fuel stops.

Ends by itself

A convoy ends automatically after 12 hours at the latest. Nobody stays visible for days by accident.

DriveLink or a WhatsApp group?

Most drives today are planned in WhatsApp groups. That works as long as everyone knows the way. Drag the red button:

Your group chat is still great for banter. DriveLink is for the part where you actually drive together.

Your privacy

You decide who sees you on the map: everyone, friends only or nobody. With "Everyone" and "Friends only", your convoy sees you too while you're driving together. A Ghost Zone around your home keeps you invisible there to everyone, including your convoy. No drive gives away where you live.
